“Fun is our main crop”
Steve’s been running wild on the farm since age three. As the Director of Fun, he’s on a mission to make sure laughter grows faster than the crops.
“I will go the extra mile to see you smile!”
Reghan’s been at Kustermans since 2017, making smiles outshine the sun. She’s enjoys seeing familiar faces and watching families spend time together.
“Berry good times!”
Meet Noah, the ‘Wizard of Gears’ at Kustermans. As Production & Equipment Manager, he works hard to ensure the berries are sooo sweet!
Tony and Henny Kustemans roots are deep in farming, both growing up on dairy farms and growing crops. Together they decided to purchase 100 acres and began raising cattle and growing a few acres of strawberries.
Tony and Henny planted three acres of blueberries and removed strawberries from the farming operation.
Steve Kustermans, the second oldest boy and his wife Hilary took over the farm and started Kustermans new chapter into the agritainment world. Bringing both agriculture and entertainment on the same farm. The first step to that was to build the market that would supply their guest with option to buy gift items, toys, drinks, food, candy and their own freshly picked fruit.
Kustermans added School Tours welcoming children from different schools to visit the farm and learn about plants and animals. This was a natural fit for Kustermans as Hilary is a school teacher and seen the need to bring the farm to the classroom in a natural setting. That year Kustermans also started it’s first Fall Festival which included a very large 9 acre corn maze design. This attraction is still a big part of Kustermans today.
Kustermans added Birthday Parties allowing children to celebrate their special ay at the farm. It was that year we also introduced Camp Kustermans to come and experience our Pick n’ Play package. This allowing camps to enjoy the Adventure Farm and the experience and fun of picking berries to enjoy and take home.
Also known as Anna’s haunted barn on Kustermans After Dark experience.
Kustermans added another festival with the sunflowers. This allowing guests to roam through the sunflower fields taking selfies and enjoy the beauty of the plant with the bees and butterflies. We plant many varieties allowing everyone to enjoy the splendour and unique qualities that each flower has to offer.
Kustermans offered strawberries again for the first time in 28 years and we are excited for the new attraction. Today Kustermans has 14 acres of blueberries, 3 acres of strawberries, 2 acres of raspberries and 5 acres of pumpkins.
We felt it was important to invest in clean washrooms that was accessible. We also have a room for nursing and an adult change table.
Kustermans began Summer Camp in the weeks of July and August. Camp Kustermans offers crafts, games, songs, baking, bouncy castles, watersides and much more!
Kustermans added an Easter Festival in April. Allowing guests to meet the Easter bunny, Hunt for Eggs and enjoy the Adventure Farm. We added Tis the season with additional activities: meet Santa, horse drawn wagon rides, camp fires, smores…
